OPULENCE REDEFINED
A grand expression of modern luxury, this expansive residence balances refined finishes and sophisticated neutrals with vibrant color, distinctive art, and unexpected global influences.
OBJECTIVE
Designed with a creativity, the goal was to create a home that felt luxurious and traditional while still being warm and visually intriguing. Refinement establishes a sophisticated backdrop, while carefully considered accents of color, distinctive furnishings, and an eclectic collection of art bring individuality to each space. Every room was designed to feel connected while maintaining its own unique personality.
Approach:
Furniture and Decor Procurement: In partnership with Four Chairs Furniture, furnishings were thoughtfully selected to complement the scale and architecture of the home while creating an inviting atmosphere. Neutrals paired with accent furnishings, and distinctive decorative pieces add moments of personality throughout. Unique art introduces an eclectic, exotic influence, pairing modern pieces with folk-inspired forms and textures to create visual interest without overwhelming the spaces.
Lighting Design: The lighting design was developed to work seamlessly with expansive natural light. Large windows allow daylight to become an integral part of the design, while bold statement fixtures provide sculptural moments that function as art in their own right. Recessed lighting was incorporated throughout for practicality and balance, creating a layered approach that highlights design details and the inviting ambiance.
Installation and Styling: The final installation brought together the home's many contrasting elements, creating spaces that feel elevated yet comfortable. Styling was carefully balanced to ensure that the expansive rooms felt thoughtfully layered. From vibrant and playful children's spaces to a cozy, luxurious movie room, each area was given its own character while remaining part of the home's cohesive design story. The result is a residence where contemporary luxury meets unexpected color, art, texture, and global influence.
